Will this sub work with Sony av receiver STR-DN1080 null

No only meant for the new Sony sound bar family.

For STRDN1080 receiver, we recommend connecting a wired subwoofer. I'd suggest checking out the Sony SACS9 model instead. I have both set it up in differents systems anyway it should works but the subwoofer is too expensive for the 1080 receiver because it needs two subwoofer
