It should work with your Philips TV. I use mine with my phone while working. I use it on my TV at home. It comes with a receiver that you plug into your TV in your S video to allow her to transfer the sound to your headset. I don’t think it lots of audio quality and it can get very loud. I’ve definitely enjoyed mine. I have had it for about two months now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes we think it is worth the money. My reason for the purchase was because my mother is pretty much deaf and refuses to get hearing aids. So I was suffering with the TV being so load. This has taken care of that problem. It has good sound to the speakers. If your purchasing them as a high tech sound system then I'm not sure you will be happy. Then again I have not turned the sound up that loud.
