Hi Madi! Thanks for the question, we’re happy to assist you with your setup. To get the best experience from your STR-AN1000, you should connect it to your TV using a physical HDMI cable. If your TV does not have an HDMI port that supports eARC or ARC, there are other ways to connect it as well. While the receiver has great wireless features for things like playing music from your phone or connecting to certain Sony wireless rear speakers, it cannot connect to your TV wirelessly for video and main audio.
