“Why on the details or the pictures it shows speakers? And when I went too buy it the sale person said no, Will this play none- blu-ray???”

• I have played DVD's and CD's on this Sony UDP-X800 player. (For sound, I used the "Digital Out" phono jack to connect the unit to my receiver.) It performed well in playing both back, as well as standard Blu-ray discs. It did have intermittent issues with 4K-UHD Blu-ray discs, though. (See my review.) As for your questions regarding the speakers, I cannot help you there. The UDP-X800 has no speakers.

• Yes it will play non Bleu ray. also The ultra 4k HDR discs also
