“Denon AVR supports 4K but not HDR. Do I sacrifice, HDR video or HD mstr audio. If I connect to tv, it will pass Dolby D 5.1 audio, via Optical digital cable . Don't know if it will pass HD mstr audio. Also. why would I need 2 HDMI outputs on 4K player?”

Hi N3vino, this unit doesn't support digital optical cable, only digital coaxial cable. Also, one HDMI out is for video and audio while the other one is for audio only. Please refer to pg.11 of the link below for more information on how to connect this unit to your TV and AV amplifier. Thanks! ^Ron

Please try again later.Connect the video hdmi to your 4k tv/projector and the video hdmi output to your receiver for full hd sound that is the purpose of 2 outputs on your player to get best picture and sound however when connected this way you lose on screen GUI from the receiver....... minor bummer
