I own 2 of this model. I have two Bose Soundbars which are connected by fiber optic cable however the only audio ports on the back is HDMI so as long as you're audio system can be hooked any device with HDMI you should be able to run it on this no matter what brand it is

Please try again later.Not sure what model your Panasonic is but I have an older Yamaha receiver that does not have HDMI connection and I use a Toslink Digital Audio Cable output from my TV (R90 QLED Samsung) and input to my Yamaha receiver. This carries the audio signal from the SONY UBPX800 4K ULTRA HD BLU-RAY and the TV to the receiver and provides excellent Stereo or Surround sound output to the speakers. So I cannot connect directly to the SONY UBPX800 4K ULTRA HD BLU-RAY with my older receiver, however, with this workaround I have full HD audio output. Hope this helps.
