“I've had my Sony UBP-X800 for 3 weeks. I've bought 20 4K UHD discs. 17 play perfectly. Fantastic Beasts, Deadpool and Kong Skull Island will not play at all. The Bluray versions do. Can you tell me what might be the problem?”

I've had mine for two weeks and it has done two updates already. That might be an issue? Also check to make sure your connecting with High Speed HDMI 2.0 cables.

Not sure. See if you need a firmware upgrade. If not then it may be the disc itself.

Have you checked for a firmware update? That used to be an issue when Blu-Ray was first introduced

Hate to say but since you have 30 days to return, you might want to do that. I'm having no problem playing either.

I got Fantastic Beasts and Kong to play. I believe it was an internet connection problem. Deadpool will not play.
