“The specs says it can read SACD discs. Since most SACD's I own are Hybrid (one standard layer and one high res layer), will the player read the SACD high res layer automatically or do I need to select an option to ensure the SACD layer is being accessed?”

Hi BKREDS14, Yes, it should play automatically. However, if not, please go to [Music Settings] and [DSD Output Mode] which is under [Audio Settings] to change the necessary settings. Thanks! ^Ron
