A:AnswerThe only things i can think of Is your cable. on you tv there is a seperate hdmi port that says arc on it. For the best playback use this as it controlls audio as well. Make sure you have a relatively fast cable as well because blu rays use more data and have a secure connection on both ends
A:AnswerHdr just means high dynamic range. It just give a better contrast in colors really. Hdr10 is a proprietary term for someones specific form of hdr. Dolby vision is better in general but that is also just their flavor of hdr. If you have a dolby vision tv it will play in that. If your tv is hdr10 it will play that. These are configured on your tv settings not on the player. Dolby vision doesnt come on movies just look for 4k uhd blu ray and that will have the best picture
A:AnswerStandard bluray will if u have the unit settitngs set to output 4K and the hdr setting to auto look about the same as a 4K bluray but a dvd will be upscaled to 4k you might notice a color bleed or artifacts and or picture noise but it will look better than 480 or 720 at 60hz which is about max resolution for most dvd players so they look marginally better
A:AnswerHi AceHunter, Thank you for your inquiry. We definitely recommend getting this model. The UBPX700 4K player is backward compatible, which means aside from playing 4K Bluray discs, it can also play regular Bluray and DVD discs. So even if you don't own a 4K TV, this unit should work perfectly with your current setup. -Sam
A:AnswerHi there, Good news! Yes, you can simultaneously connect the "HDMI OUT 1" to your TV for video and connect the "HDMI OUT 2" on your receiver for audio. A:AnswerI'm a bit confused by your question. You bought a DVD player, or 4K player? To give a precise answer, I would need precise info to go on.
Also, are you asking about the player, or the TV?
I just bought that player, and 4K is an option to set the picture settings at.
Don't forget that you will also need a 4K HDMI cable.
A:AnswerYes this player can play regular DVD's as well as regular BluRay and 4k BluRay disks. Just keep in mind that the picture quality will not look great on a newer TV with standard old DVD, while BluRay will nicely upscale to 4k.
A:AnswerI had the same problem with the first player I bought. DVD as well as cd's. My advice is to check the audio settings as well and if this does not make any difference, return the player for a new one like I did. The second one worked fine.
A:AnswerNo, it does not play mini Discs. Only 4.75 diameter discs. 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and audio CD's. RW-Blu-ray, RW-CD ,RW-DVD, R-CD, R-DVD & R-Blu-ray are also playable.
