NO! Caution! The Amazon video app IS included on this device, BUT the licensing agreement with Sony NO LONGER EXISTS. Therefore the app cannot update and perform correctly with new functions and/or programming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does support both. I bought this about 1 month ago and i have both Netfix and Amazon Prime. I do have a flat screen, but it's not a smart TV. In order for Netflix & Amazon Prime to work you obviously need an internet connection and possibly an HDMI cable. (HDMI does not come with player.) Since I don't have a smart TV I hooked the HDMI cable from the player to the TV. I hope this helps.
