Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes a separate HDMI cable will be needed, the difference will be how long do you need the cable to reach. In my opinion all the cables are the same, but some of the higher end ones work better on the NEW sets. If your TV was purchased in the last year get the good cables. otherwise the cheaper ones are just fine.
