• I have never had to do that with this particular blu-ray player and this is the second one I own..hope this helps.

• Hi Mike, All you need to do is go to Set-up/Settings, then go down to Resetting and click "Initialize personal Information". Just agree with the prompt then you're good to go. Regards, Zac
