• I would think. We have it hooked up to a receiver. The Blu Ray sends its signal to my receiver which is hooked to a TV. Our TV is really just a monitor. Even with out the receiver, the Blu Ray would use the TV as a monitor only. the Blu Ray has the internet connectivity - not the TV.
