Not really, My new Sony is connected to A separate Tv! Not correct to any cable network, it’s corrected to HDMI input to Sony DVD player! Works Perfectly! Excellent! My cable is separate and Connected to My New purchase VIZIO Purchase, The Best of Both Viewing! And Yes it will work perfectly with cable Tv! I just wanted to view My Blu-ray and DVD’s separate…..
