“Does the dvr player have to be connected by HDMI etc. to my smart tv to play dvr's? I am looking for a true wireless dvr player that will connect to my tv for dvr discs without having to connect it manually by cables to tv. Thanks.”

Works Perfectly! Excellent! My cable is separate and Connected to My New purchase VIZIO Purchase, The Best of Both Viewing! And Yes it will work perfectly with cable Tv! I just wanted to view My Blu-ray and DVD’s separate…..
