Questioni don't want to run a wire from my stand to the wall mounted tv. can this dvd player play a dvd wirelessly? does that make sense? does there have to be a cord connect between the two?

- Answer It will require a HDMI cable. I don't think there are any DVD players that don't require some type of wiring.

QuestionDoes this blu-ray player have to be plugged into the tv in any way? Or can we simply plug it into an electrical outlet, insert a dvd and watch the movie wirelessly? (i.e. simply pull it out of a drawer, use it, and then store it back in the drawer?)

- Answer You will need a HDMI-DVI adapter for this TV to work with this player. I hope this helps you. I have no problem with this player, it has performed admirably for me.

QuestionI purchased this BluRay player to play Amazon Prime in my bedroom because my TV is not a smart tv. I can't find the Amazon App in the preloaded apps and I do not see anywhere to download it. Am I missing something? And if so how do I get amazon on?

QuestionIs there a way to disable the wireless on this player so that it is not sending out wifi signals? I have turned off the wifi in my home and disabled it's internet, but the player is still putting out over 11,000 microwatts per square meter playing a DVD.

- Answer Hello, You may reset the settings of the player to factory settings then begin the setup again. During setup, you may select a wired setup instead of a wireless setup. -Vincent
