- Answer No, it absolutely does not and there is no ability to download additional apps. This is a very dated Blu-Ray/DVD player. Your best bet is to get the next generation one. Hope that helps.

- Answer There is no optical connection. An HDMI cable is used. I have a SONY sound bar that is connected to the ARC HDMI jack of my Samsung TV. The Blueray HDMI is connected to HDMI 1 on my TV. I have also found that the manufacturers of the different devices have been very helpful. Make sure you call them; don’t use chat.

- Answer BDP-S3700 players with serial numbers lower than 4000000 are not affected by this change. New BDP-S1700 and BDP-S3700 players with serial number 4000000 or higher were not sold with, and do not include, support for Prime Video.

- Answer You might be disappointed. I also had a Samsung prior to this Sony. The remote is about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of the Samsung remote. The buttons are pretty small. So far though, I am very happy with the Sony.
