- Answer If you dowload the Kodi app, no. If you want to watch Netflix, Sling Tv, hulu, amazon prime, etc you need a subscription and the cost varies. Search YouTube for how to install Kodi.

- Answer My experience is even the controller Sony recommends (Dualshock4) won't work with this player. The game streaming feature is basically nonfunctional.

QuestionI recently tried to watch a BD on my PS3 but it gave me a message saying I have to update my software to play the BD. Will i eventually come across the same problem with this BD player? I don't have access to wifi to update.

- Answer I bought the Sony BDP-S3500 6 months ago and about 3 months after I purchased it, it stopped playing regular DVDs. I have tried everything suggested to me by fellow users and also Sony and nothing has worked. I had to buy a completely different DVD player just to watch Non-Blu Ray DVDs.

QuestionLoading tray locking up?I've been reading a lot of user reviews on several sites about the Sony Blu-Ray players and the biggest complaint seems to be the loading tray locks up a lot; several have posted they couldn't get their discs out for days. If that is a major problem with Sony's Blu-Ray players what other brand or brands of Blu-Ray players should I consider? My HDTV set which I bought last Christmas is an LG Model LF500B 32" LED HDTV which I've been very pleased with. It's not a smart set; only has 720p 60Hz but I've been very happy so far with my new set.

- Answer There is an update that fixes the loading tray lock. There are several ways to update including using a USB stick if you don't have WiFi.

- Answer If your older projector has hdmi yes. But if you are talking ancient projector with a/v yellow red white cables then you will need an adaptor for a/v to hdmi and then yes it would work.
