Buy a different 4k player. I have the same issues. Unhappy with the sound myself, and tried 3 different 4k HDMI cables as well.

Most likely this is the issue, see if the menu allows combining sound onto your video HDMI port. If you use the sound HDMI output, you will most likely fix the sound but probably have video problems.

Please try again later.I can't answer your question directly but if you have the option directing sound directly through your home theater receiver via the coaxial connector then I would do that instead of using your TV sound electronics. Clearly, you have a incompatibility of some sort. If the home theater doesn't solve the problem or if that is not an option, then I would reach out to your TV manufacturer first for a solution.
