I don’t have the OLED or a 4K TV yet (my 1080P LG has to “fail” first says the wife) but I have had the same issue, with 3 UBP-800s and 1 UPB 1000 ES. Players just suddenly freeze then shut down. My latest 1000 froze once but not since. Players absolutely beautiful Blue rays . I was streaming NETFLIX and others through them but don’t do that now and no longer seem to have issue (went to an Apple TV 4K for streaming). All components, including 1000ES, run through a Marantz 7011 and MartinLogan speakers. I believe there must be a software/firmware gremlin in the Sony players, especially since you have the same issue. For now, get a warranty extension and hope someone has a better answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try doing a factory reset. You can do it from the settings menu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try doing a factory reset and also using a different HDMI able. My guess is the issue is coming from your current HDMI cable not being able to handle the output. Find your HDMI cable at Monoprice for longer cable and good quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am playing the same unit on my LG 77" Oled. Not having any of the issues you speak of. Now in regards to clarity the picture is great, but needs a great feed like Netflix 4K to get the picture and sound! Some 4K movies have great surround and others don't, still trying to define the details as to what is required for both picture and sound.
