    • Answer Short Answer: Yes . Long Answer: I can see the UTL Field 5 charging in the Sony Sound Connect app while BT streaming music. But recognize that depending on your charger output amps, along with using the party lights, and a high level of output volume, the speaker may not actually charge but just hold its existing charge. Might even lose battery charge. Example: A 500mA charger probably will not be sufficient, while a 3.5A would be just fine.

    • Answer Yes, it does. You can also edit this in the app I believe. I just turn on the speaker and then leave all around the house and it stays connected so I haven't tested the full range yet because I haven't had to but I know I've seen that setting in the app

However, the GTK-XB90 speaker uses a different system called Wireless Party Chain rather than Party Connect. You cannot pair the SRS-ULT50 with the GTK-XB90 for synchronized playback using Party Connect. The two speakers use different linking technologies that are incompatible with each other.
