- Answer Hi bigeasy, the setup you have in mind is not guaranteed to work. The USB port of this turntable is designed mainly to establish a connection with a computer. We recommend checking with a professional installer for car stereo options that will work with your vehicle. Thanks, -Mark

- Answer Provided you have a pre-amp (>$20) and the soundbar has phono input (red and white sockets-some do, some dont) internal amplification(it does) , it should work out of the box. If not you will need a few small adapters. (ex phono to 3.5mm ).

QuestionSometimes I only want to play back through laptop via USB, not record, but no sound comes through unless I start recording, then pause the actual recording. All settings have been done according to manual. So I cant use it just for playback?

QuestionI purchased this to use on my Sonos Play 5. It says it is preamp so I assumed it would work. I connected it via RCA cable to 3.5mm jack into back of it & could not get any sound at all. I tried & online with Sonos. Any suggestions?

- Answer You'll need to use a stereo receiver that specifically has a phono pre amp or purchase a dedicated phono preamp.

QuestionI bought this, Sony 2 channel receiver and insignia powered bookshelf speakers. Got the receiver cuz the turntable would not play sound through these speakers. Speakers are not working with either set up. What speakers will work with these two?

- Answer We have the speakers connected directly to the turntable without an amp, no problem; the speakers are powered. Not sure what might be going on for you, but good luck!

- Answer RCA jack's only. You could try hooking the turntable to a computer using the USB cable, then output the computer to the Bose system through HDMI.
