Is this speaker cordelless? null

Yes it is Bluetooth speaker and you can hook up microphones.When i bought this even the website said it was rechargeable.It is not it has to be plugged in to a power source. Other than that i love it.And i got a great deal on it.

Can I take this outside with the cord

It is bluetooth compatible and you can wire it to an audio system, tv, vcr, stereo etc. with red/white audio cable. You can party connect to similar speakers wireless via bluetooth connection as well as smart phone, PC, or any device with bluetooth capability. Only cord needed at all times is power cord.
