Yes, yes, and yes. You pick the function you want from the control panel on top. Also on the control panel is the option for the speaker light.

This speaker has several function buttons, that go from tuner, to cd, to Bluetooth, to microphone, etc., just use the remote. Also, you can set the bass to extra or none as well as set what type of tone sounds you want your music to play. I hope this helps.
