There's no "wing" to hold them in but if you find the right size for the earbud tips they may stay secure enough to run. You'll likely have to adjust them though.

So Sony offering a premium product and staying that close to the major leader in the "rugged-earbud space" is really impressive. I don't know what type of music you like but get these earbuds and listen to the instrument and vocal separation in "What Was I Made For"- By Billie Eilish, and listen for the cowbell in the intro to "I'm Still Standing from Sing the Movie" -Tarun Egerton I use these examples because they are from VERY popular movies. Even if you don't like the songs, you've heard them on either the biggest, most expensive speakers in the world (the movie theater) or at home on the largest, and likely also the best speakers you own. These tiny earbuds hang or are better. Download a high quality version. Use Amazon, Tidal, Deezer or any streaming company who's sample quality is important, or vital, to the business model. Anyway, come back and leave a review that these songs on these headphones made you cry on the treadmill. :-) Because you are totally going to cry on the treadmill if you listen to Eilish at the gym with these earbuds so they might get a little wet, a little salty, and they will be fine.
