A:AnswerThe SP700N have a free app called Headphones. When the charged units are placed in your ears, activate Headphones and choose the desired ambient sound control you want. you can also select your mode using the buttons on the devices themselves. If you don't want music or other audio, then just don't hit the play button on your phone. Be aware, these units work well but have a short battery life until needing to be recharged, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
A:AnswerThere is not. One of the units is the “master” and since phone calls aren’t in stereo they only come through the master channel instead of both sides. Most truly wireless earbuds are this way.
A:AnswerNoise cancelling on these is not as good as the headphone version. I don't know why you would want to use them in a theater, but, they would not completely drown out the loudness in my opinion. I have work both the headphone version and ear buds while riding my lawn mower or pushing the push mower. The head phones drown out the sound of the tractor and the mower. The Ear buds at high volume in can still hear them. I hope this help you. have the Sony WH100XM3 Headphones. Some walks up to and starts talking, you can't hear them. I like both.

I'm afraid although they are given the sport name, it's for the alleged water proofing and the fact that they are supposed to fit in your ears snuggly enough to allow you to ride your bike, go for a run, or hit the gym.
