A:AnswerHi Rhs,
Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the WF1000XM4 doesn't have built-in memory to store music. You can pair these headphones with a Bluetooth device to enjoy music content.

A:AnswerAfter about 1 year and 1 month (just outside of warranty) both earbuds will charge...sometimes to 100% and sometimes one will charge to 80% while the other one will not charge at all.
If, by chance, they both take a full charge they will only last for about 5 or 10 minutes before they die.
Pretty bad for a $300.00 pair of earbuds
A:AnswerThe best way to maximize ANC performance, is to ensure the tips you are using are large enough to create a tight seal in your ear, but not large enough to become fatiguing. Another tip, because most people don't do this right, is how to put them in. Smush down the eartips until they're flat, and quickly insert them into the ear with a forward twisting motion, and hold for about 15 seconds. It takes a second to master but it makes a big difference. Now if you just want to drown out noise without listen to music, put on very very low volume "Brown Noise" and that will help. If you still feel the ANC isn't up to the task, then perhaps it is a lost cause because the ANC here is only beat by one earbud, the gargantuan Bose QuietComfort.
A:AnswerHi Dave,
Thank you so much for your interest in Sony's WF-1000XM4.
When using with a computer, you will be able to control the volume, skipping a track or changing between noise cancellation like the smartphone. However, if you are looking to use it for specific more likely those functions will be limited.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerHi DanL, thank you for your inquiry. We designed these headphones to provide incredible audio performance and take noise cancellation to the next level. Thanks to our new Integrated Processor V1 which takes the noise-cancelling performance of our acclaimed QN1e chip and goes even further. Improved noise cancelling performance and Bluetooth “System on Chip” technology delivers the industry’s highest level of noise cancelling yet uses less power.
For this reason, I believe that headphones would eliminate sounds of small airplanes landing and sound from gas powered leaf blowers.

Erin
A:AnswerHello Kmo3,
Thanks for your interest in Sony's WF-1000XM4!
Although we cannot compare the subjective experience between the two brands, we can guarantee you that our WF-1000XM4 will provide you excellent comfort as we redesigned the internal layout of these headphones to make them 10% smaller than the previous generation, without compromising on sound quality or battery life. At just 7.3 g, they’re light enough to wear all day. Additionally, we provide an assortment of earbuds in various sizes (S (orange), M (green) L (light blue)) to ensure there is a great fit for all ear sizes and an optimal noise-canceling experience.
The WF-1000XM4 are designed to be comfortable but sleeping in them is not recommended.
I hope this helps, and thanks again for considering Sony!

A:AnswerHello surfside,
Thank you so much for your inquiry.
The WF-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones is compatible with Apple product that supports Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless headphones and speakers' connection.
Unfortunately, it will not work the iPod touch 4th generation. We can only pair these headphones with iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch (6th generation) and later.
I hope you find this information to be helpful!
Best regards,

A:AnswerI believe with Noise canceling and adjustments to the EQ these headphones will absolutely make you want to use no other headphones you have... higher settings in the EQ doesnt mean it makes it louder also try a volume booster app or see how to bypass volume setting for your phone. mine by default only goes to 75% however the sound quality is outstanding. best of luck.
A:AnswerHi, thanks for your inquiry. The WF-1000XM4 contains nickel in the following:

A:Answerif the question means to use each side individually on separate devices, then no.. the right side also manages the left, so you could at least recharge the left side while listening to anything on the right, but not the other way.
A:AnswerI have the same problem as do many people. They will not hold a charge if you can get them to take one. My pair just went out of warranty by 3 months when they started acting up.
