• If the TV is capable of bluetooth, which some are then you are able to connect them. You can use these headphones with both Iphone and Samsung devices.

• Unsure about the Sony Smart tv, but as for the gym question, the instructions/warning label that comes in the box shows a diagram of avoiding water and sweating while using them. In the end, it is up to you, but that surprised me so I thought I would pass it along.
