Are these headphones loud null

As loud as is safe. Many people confuse loudness with distortion. The distortion on these head phones is incredibly low. So when you crank them up - they are very loud, but w/o distortion - like you will get when you crank skull candy headphones.

Not sure what you mean by loud but I can say they work extremely well to cancel sound and have very clean sound.
