I used them with a Vizio and experienced no lag. I don’t own a Samsung TV to try it though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Sony Tv's, so I wouldn't be the best person to answer this question, but honestly it could very well vary Samsung model to Samsung model. If I were you I would purchase the headset and be very mindful of the 13 day return (they'll say 14 days, but the day you purchased counts as day one).

For Bluetooth communication, the WH-1000XM5 uses the latest Bluetooth version 5.2 with a maximum communication range of about 10 m (30 ft), and wired connectivity options. The communication between the devices will be poor if there is an obstruction between the unit and the connected device. We recommend checking if your TV supports Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless headphones playback, the WH-1000XM5 should work and sync perfectly with your TV sound. However, the audio playback on the headset may be delayed from that on the transmitting device, due to the characteristics of Bluetooth wireless technology. As a result, the sound may not be in sync with the image when viewing movies or playing games. We have some good information about the precautions on Bluetooth communications in this helpful link here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm5/v1/en/contents/TP1000534599.html We've also released a firmware update to improve the stability of music playback for the WH-1000XM5. Regards, Jess
