“Can you lock the cup that controls the headphones and use the app to control the headphones so if you’re laying in bed watching a movie, you don’t accidentally hit the cup and then it changed the settings and what not is there a way to lock that out?”

there's a setting to do this in the Sound Connect app! at the bottom of the My Device tab, there's a "device settings" button. in the "system" tab of the device settings screen, there's a "touch sensor control panel" toggle.
