“How does the system connect to the source (receiver/TV/etc.)? Is it copper, fiber, or RF? I am looking for a headset that connects via Bluetooth without any physical connection. Can these? Thanks for any help.”

This is not Bluetooth. Charging base connects to back of TV or cable box. THEN the headset is wireless.

These are in the television section made for old people like me who think Bluetooth is what you get as a stain on your teeth. The Best Buy salesman said the Bluetooth headsets are much better built. Also Bluetooth works for your walk around music.
