“Can I use my Sony UBP X700 with my HT-NT5 (in another room) as an ATMOS player? If so, do I need to plug the player directly into the soundbar or can I keep the ARC setup to my Sony 65" TV? As you can see I'm really a Sony fan.”

The speakers only work with the soundbar they are made for, they won't work with any other tv or soundbar.
