- Answer Directly from the operating instructions I received when I purchased the rear speakers it states the SA-Z9R speakers are designed exclusively for use with HT-Z9F soundbar and cannot be used with other devices.

- Answer They are great in fact... originally I just bought the Soundbar with the included subwoofer. Later I added the rear speakers and it makes a big difference even in regular broadcast TV. With this pandemic spending a lot of time watching TV and movies it is made a big difference. It is worth the purchase.

QuestionIs there a separate knob on the speakers to adjust the volume? If not, how do you control the volume on these? We have a large room and need the rear ones to be louder than the front, so the people in the front are not blasted while too low in the back.

- Answer There is no volume control on the speaker. Volume on rear speakers and subwoofer are controlled with remote supplied with the soundbar.

QuestionI have these speakers and they are great the issue im having is they only come one when someone is watching Netflix on the TV other then that they don't work . My sound bar is on but no sound . I have to cut it off and back on . WHY???

- Answer Are you sure they aren’t actually on but just insanely low volume (even when cranked to 12)? That’s been my experience. I’m taking them back - the speakers are whisper quiet when you watch most things and it doesn’t seem fixable. Sorry this isn’t particularly helpful.

QuestionI have green lights, the home page says they are connected but I am getting no sound from rear speakers, I came into the store and they said that specific shows will only use surround sound, so I tried the show he had on, Spiderman 3, still no sound??

- Answer I had the same problem. It’s something weird in the settings. On your home screen go to advanced settings. Then go to audio settings. Change your settings. Then change them back to the correct settings and that should fix the issue. The settings that I kept it on after changing them is DSEE HX ON, audio drc on, sound effect Dolby speaker virtulizer, advanced auto volume off. I hope this helps

- Answer There is no compartment to hold extra cord...I have the same issue. The cord is too long, hiding it is a problem.

- Answer Not sure of the maximum range, but mine are about 16' away from the sub and TV and pair up and function just fine. I do have a wireless mesh access point in the same room as them though, so signal strength is not an issue for my system. My living room is open concept and pretty large and I feel they have plenty of output for the room as well.
