“Hello! I'm looking to buy speakers for my fiance's bedroom, ideally around her bed (She likes to listen to rain when she sleeps). Do these work well independent of any other speakers/sub-woofers? Is there a different one you would suggest?”

I believe these only work with the Sony 3.1 Sound bar. They are very good speakers but expensive for what you want to do.

Hi Garyk, These wireless speakers are specifically built for HT-Z9F soundbar. You cannot use it as a stand alone speaker. We recommend using a Bluetooth speakers because it is portable, great sound quality and good amount of battery life.
