I believe these only work with the Sony 3.1 Sound bar. They are very good speakers but expensive for what you want to do.

No they only work when there's a surround sound needed.

These wireless speakers are specifically built for HT-Z9F soundbar. You cannot use it as a stand alone speaker. We recommend using a Bluetooth speakers because it is portable, great sound quality and good amount of battery life. You may refer to this link for the list of our Bluetooth speakers.
