Yes, you can connect (I believe) up to 10.
I bought 2 and synchronized them to one phone and it really enhanced the sound. They are pretty loud and clear. I recommend them!

Yes, you can pair 2, but also up to 10 can be linked in the party chain mode. If you want a really good garage speaker go with the xb40. More volume, and a wider sound range.

if you use the app suggested in guide you can pair two speakers to one phone through Bluetooth. I only have one speaker and it is very loud. I never turn it all the way up as it is loud enough midway.
