“If I connect the speaker through the audio jack and usb to my tv will the power turn on and off when my tv is turned on or off? Also, will the tv volume control the volume of the speaker?”

Hi AudioDan, The USB port is only designed for a computer or an AC adaptor. We can't guarantee that using the audio jack with a TV will allow the speaker to turn on/off automatically as well as control the volume with the TV remote. We also recommend to use a soundbar, A/V receiver or a home theater system to complete your entertainment experience.
