- Answer No you have to have XB20 XB30 XB40 XB21 etc. to link. XB3 and XB31 should have same or better power but longer lasting battery.

QuestionI have an older XB, 40 I think. It was a gift a little over a year ago. I’m thinking about getting the XB 30. Will I be able to pair the old with the new if I chose to?

- Answer I have an XB 30, & other than it being a reputable name brand, being able to sync it to other XB’s was another reason why I purchased the speaker although I don’t know this personally, I do plan on getting an XB 20, or another 30 ( XB 40 is too expensive for me!)

QuestionWhy won't my speaker connect to my macbook? Anytime someone else wants to use the speaker it doesn't come up as available connections either.

- Answer Might be that you dont have the speaker in pairing mode. Press and hold power button for 5 seconds until it says “bluetooth pairing” and the bluetooth symbol is flashing.

- Answer you can use a regular charging cable if you lost the one it came with. For example: I use a Samsung s7 charging cable to charge the speaker.

QuestionI get an error messege & none of our devices will sync anymore (speaker is 1 month old). We have turned off all BT & only turned on 1 device, uninstalled the music app and reinstalled, it says it’s not in range and it’s right in front of me. Help!!

- Answer Did this to me one time. Found it wasn't the speaker it was my phone. If you can erase the speaker from your Bluetooth device. Turn the. Bluetooth device off and back on and search again. Worked for me.
