A:AnswerWithout knowing the room specifications size-wise and also if there's background water noise and then again if you're teaching or having a lot of people that are talking and it's an echo your room who can actually say. The Acoustics are going to matter how far the sound travels but in my experience they're very conducive to loud music and a very substantial extra bass feature. I used two of them as kind of a makeshift sound bar because I live in a small apartment and I have a double output headphone setup on my television and when I have them all the way up I'm using my TV volume at 2. So for what all that's worth I would suggest trying one of them and if not take it back to Best Buy cuz you got that window of time for a refund. Also, I've never had a problem with the three that I do own is there durable they hold a charge for many hours before it tells you to recharge so all around for me they work out great. I hope that helps you and good luck. David
A:AnswerTry pressing the reset button on the back of the unit. This may help. I had somewhat of a similar issue with it not pairing to my phone between using on an android device and an Apple device.

A:AnswerI did a quick look through on the guide when i first got mine and i did notice that it is pretty temperature picky. It has a recommended temp of 40-96 degrees F. may be a little lower then 40 but its somewhere in that range. I also read that when it gets to hot, maybe from direct sunlight or charging while playing it may reduce volume or even shut off to protect the unit from any damage, to the battery or speakers. I have not ran mine a ton since i got it or outside so im not sure as to how fast it may heat up on its on without any sunlight or outside heat. But this may be what you are experiencing. Hope it helps.
A:AnswerI thought it was 30 days. Im not sure if their policy has changed.
But when i purchased a tablet for my gr. son, my money was funny and my dollars couldnt hollar. I went back in the 30 day period and put insurance onto the tablet. Call and see
A:AnswerYou can’t add insurance to your speaker after that time, but you may still be in your return policy especially if you’re Elite or Elite Plus. You could decide you don’t like it and return it. Then you could change your mind and buy another and go ahead and choose the Geek Squad.
A:AnswerHi, the battery of the XB40 is not removable or replaceable. If the battery goes bad after 2 years, then you may send it for repair. Thanks! ^Ron
