• I know that they work with iPods as they work with my iPod Touch, which is easily 4 years old or more. Blu-tooth is all you need. Working as wired? I see no way to do that with them. Hope this helps.

• I have both a wire and wireless Beats - over ears set. Even with the wired set, if the battery is dead, you cannot hear anything. The Beats must be charged.
