• No Sony tv's only receive bluetooth signals from like a cell phone to play music or video.it doesn't transmit the signal. You would need to get a Bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack on the TV

• If it has blue tooth then yes, I use mine on my Samsung curved 70 inch tv

• Hello Ed!This unit is required to be connected to a Bluetooth transmitter and our Sony television comes with a receiver type of Bluetooth connection only. It is possible, however, to connect a Bluetooth transmitter to the audio out/ headphone port of the television and then turn off the internal speakers to send the signal to the headphones.
