Yes you can I use my Phone and you soundchain them using the back of the speaker. Super simple set up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can, I do this with my 2 XB7's and my iPod. It is not to difficult to connect the 2 speakers and iPod all by Bluetooth, and is good once it is connected. The only problem is that if you take your iPod away from the speakers for a while, the speakers turn off and disconnect from each other. So every time you connect your iPod back to the speakers, you have to reconnect the "Party Chain" between the speakers. This is inconvenient for me because of where I have the speakers mounted in my shop, have to get a ladder out to reach the speakers every time because you can't start the Party Chain between the speakers with the remote. Once you are connected to one speaker with iPod by Bluetooth, and the 2 speakers are connected to each other by Bluetooth, the system is very good. I like that the volume of both speaker is equal and controlled by the iPod. Connecting to 1 speaker by Bluetooth to iPod is no problem, simple. Also you can connect the 2 speakers to each other with RCA cables, but when you do that the speakers volume is not controlled by the iPod, you have to control each speaker volume independently with its remote or buttons on the speakers. The manual says that the speakers are supposed to return to their last connection state every time they are turned on, but I have not found that to be the case. I have been using these for about 4 months. If anyone can school me on this that would be great!!
