This Bluetooth transmitter has to be charged as it only has a 15 hour battery life. But for my use this worked out quite nicely and convenient when my wife was on the phone and I had to cut the volume. Now I can listen in comfort and not disturb her.

A:AnswerHi Mike, the IPX5 water-resistant rating allows the headphones to operate while being subjected to jets of water. However, we still do not recommend exposing the headphones to water for more than 3 minutes. Thanks, -Mark
