Once you have paired the speakers using the app, you can connect them to another Bluetooth device that does not have the app and still enjoy stereo sound. However, the initial pairing and grouping must be done through the app. To use the Stereo Pair function, 2 SRS-XE300 speakers are required. By connecting 2 speakers via BLUETOOTH connection, you can enjoy more powerful sound. You can connect multiple speakers (up to 100 speakers) compatible with the Party Connect function via BLUETOOTH connections and enjoy music playback. The XE300 speaker is perfect for bringing quality sound to your party. The Line-Shape Diffuser sends a wide sound all around, without compromising on quality. There are third party apps that can do that for this speaker. Q: QuestionDoes it come with an AC adapter and cord so I can plug it into a wall outlet when I use it? Can I also charge the battery with such an adapter? I saw one of these Sonys at a business playing while plugged into a wall electricial outlet.

• A:Answer Hi SKMerganser, thank you for your question. The speaker comes with a USB Type-C® cable only. You can purchase a commercially-available USB AC adaptor capable of delivering an output current of 1.5 A or 3.0 A. It is also safe to leave it plugged because charging stops when the Li-ion battery is full. A topping charge is only applied when the battery voltage drops to a certain level. To maximize battery life, however, it is better to not keep it plugged in. Environmental conditions, not cycling alone, govern the longevity of lithium-ion batteries. Do not charge in conditions too cold or too warm (below 41F or above 95F) When not in use, keep the device stored in a cool place, partially charged. Operating condition between 30 and 80 percent maximizes battery life. Lithium-Ion batteries have no memory and are not degraded with partial discharges. The worst situation is keeping a fully charged battery at elevated temperatures. The XG300 speaker is perfect for bringing a big sound to a portable party. Whether you’re at home or at the beach, park or poolside, this speaker will give you a great sound even at high volume, and will have enough battery life to keep going as long as you do. • A:Answer Hello Daddoo, Most soundbars are a closed system, meaning they only work with their brand. So no, these will not work with a Samsung soundbar as rear speakers. As the XE200 is Bluetooth only they will not connect to Sony soundbars as rears, for this, there are specific “rear” speakers. They can have the audio from certain bars transmitted to them via Bluetooth. This generally means all the audio comes from the connected speaker and not the bar anymore. Hope this helps, -Sam
