The speaker is capable of running on power either from an AC outlet connected by the supplied AC power cord (mains lead) or from the rechargeable built-in lithium-ion battery. Built-in battery life (while the speaker is not in Battery Care mode and a BLUETOOTH connection is established) Approx. 25 hours Volume level: 14 Sound: MEGA BASS on Lighting: off. Approx. 15 hours (default) Volume level: 14 Sound: MEGA BASS on Lighting: on NOTE: When using the speaker for the first time, be sure to charge the built-in battery for more than 1 hour before turning on the speaker. With the built-in battery charged in advance, you can use the speaker solely with battery power. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends how long you use it and how loud you use it for. If you keep it plugged in no problems. If you have it at minimal volume it lasts for quite a while which is over 5 hours. For mine I have it running on battery life for a solid 3 and 1/2 hours at 3/4 volume and once it hits 60%. I just flipped the switch and charge it which takes less than 10 minutes and goes back to 100%.
