“I have a Samsung soundbar with bluetooth. Will these headphones be compatible with it? The soundbar is maybe 4 years old so I don't know if that makes a difference”

Hi Curt, it will depend on the Bluetooth specifications of your sound bar if they are compatible with the headphones. The Bluetooth functionality of these headphones runs on version 4.1 which supports A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP profiles. If your sound bar has nearly identical Bluetooth specifications, it may work with the headphones.Thanks, -Mark
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your sound bar is probably not the source of output. I had to hook a splitter to TV audio out and then hook a transmitter to the splitter. The sound goes to the sound bar and to the transmitter. Caution: the sound thru the headphones is delayed just enough that you can't use them with the sound bar at the same time.You may be able to use Bluetooth from your TV with these but again not with the sound bar at any volume.
