QuestionWhen crib is coverted to a bed is the changing table and drawers no longer usable because its unable to stand alone without the crib?

- Answer No, I don't think so. From the instructions and the pictures that came with the crib, the changing table and drawers can stand by themselves and can be used as a bedside table
