• No it does not. All the soundbar does is move the audio direction. In my case from the backside of the TV to the front of the TV

• Hello katman, while the volume of the TV can be controlled with the TV remote, the volume of the channels is determined by the broadcaster and how they record their shows. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
