• It plays mono unless you connect a second Soundboks, then you can have full left & right audio.

• It will convert stereo to mono and sound good playing as a single speaker. In my opinion playing in true stereo from such a singular source would be moot anyway. Excellent product, and can also provide stereo output to other speakers even if main signal is over Bluetooth.
