That's a battery charge graph, represented in three pixels. When the light on the far left remains solid, the middle light blinks, and the light on the far right is it unlit, it means the earbuds are somewhere around halfway charging by the power from the case. Alternatively, if the case is charging by itself or with earbuds inside, that charging graph represents how far the case and/or buds are from being at full charge.
