this speaker does connect to the iPhone with blue tooth, its mic is only a side benefit as the speaker is mainly positioned as a speaker for entertainment purposes. If you want a device for calls, we'd recommend you to our speakerphone (e.g., PowerConf S3 Speakerphone) instead. Shelly Ma
